For the special contribution of the country's economy Dr. Azizur Rahman Khan and Dr. Mahbub Hossain (posthumous), 'Bangladesh Bank Award-017' is being given.
The information was released on Saturday (February 17th) in the press release of the central bank.
Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith will attend the Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management (BIBM) auditorium at 4:30 pm on Sunday (18th February). He will present this honor in the presence of his successor as Chief Guest.
The awards are awarded as a gold medal, a crest of Bangladesh Bank and two lakhs of cash.
The University of California's Professor Emeritus Dr. is now going to present the 'Bangladesh Bank Award-017', a jury board headed by the governor of Bangladesh Bank. Azizur Rahman Khan and former executive director of BRAC Mahbub Hossain was jointly nominated.
