Customs officials interrupted the airport security

After the police officer customs officials obstructed Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. On Monday night, while passing on the boy to Australia, he entered the sensitive area of the airport.

Customs Revenue Assistant Officer Tohra Begum received financial penalties for this. She is on holiday vacations.

The police sub-inspector (SI) Ashiqur Rahman said the incident took place within two days of the arrest of the accused in the airplane.

It is known that Customs Revenue Assistant Officer Tohra Begum passed two-step security arrangements at Boarding Bridge area on Monday night to give the boy to Australia. Later, he was arrested by the duty staff and handed over to the Airport Police Station. Later, the airport magistrate gave him 10 thousand takas.

An Armed Police Battalion (APBN) officer at the airport told the media yesterday that while Tohra Begum was on holiday, she did not return her due date identity card (D-pass). The rule is that the person who will not be in charge will withdraw the pass from the company. But the customs did not do that. So, by showing D pass, Tohra Begum entered the airport by gate number 3. No one else asked him anymore. He went to the area where foreign passengers were waiting for the aircraft to arrive. Later he was detained while entering the boarding bridge. He shouted at this. Later, after the incident spread to the airport radio, officials of different organizations came and took him away from there. He was then handed over to the airport police station.

The magistrate fined him Tk 10,000 on the airport for allegedly entering the sensitive area of the airport.

Shahjalal Airport director Kazi Iqbal Karim told the media that when the UK cargo ban came after many attempts, such incidents were very unpredictable.
