A housewife (27) has been found guilty of gang rape in Jainagar area of Jajira Upazila of Shariatpur. After the case, the police arrested three accused and sent them to jail. Another accused is absconding.

Talking to the police and the housewife, it was reported that the wife of one of the Malaysian expatriates in Pakundia Upazila of Kishoreganj was staying in Jatrabari of Dhaka with children's children. Akhter Sarder (23) of Jainagar Khankandi village in Jajira Upazila of Shariatpur was identified with the housewife. Akhtar married the housewife in November last year. After the marriage, the housewife went to her husband Akhtar's house. Akter's family started torturing the housewife after marriage. On January 27, the local union council (UP) chairman made an arbitrator. According to the decision of the arbitrator, Akter was separated from the housewife. Later, the housemaid returned to Dhaka.

On January 31, he called on the housewife to come back to Jajira to get some jewelry back. The housewife reached Jazirah's Mangal Manghi Launchghat around 4pm. From there Akter's friend Jasim Munshi, Ibrahim Molla and Sakhawat Hossain brought him to Kazirhat Bazar in Jazira. Akhtar joined him there. Talking about taking her home, she took her to an abandoned house in the village of Jaynagar Khankandi. The four men raped her there. On the next day, the villagers rescued the housemaid and took him to the police station.

Later, the housemaid filed a case with the Jazira police station against four people. The next day, the housewife was examined in Shariatpur Sadar Hospital on Friday. On Saturday, police arrested Akhter Sardar, Jasim Mridha, and Sakhawat Hossain. They were sent to jail on Sunday. Accompanied Ibrahim Molla is absconding.

The housewife said in the first light, 'Akhtar has taken a lot of money from me by trapping in love. Trusted husband and son left his house. But he has ruined my extreme. I never thought that he would insult me with his friends. I lost all. May God punish them.
